Had a breakfast meet-up with some friends today. This place served complimentary koeksisters, which was warm & tasty. We tried different menu items. I had the omlette and hot chocolate. The others enjoyed their meals also & got croissants to take home. The waitress & manager were very attentive & hospitable. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Knead on Dean Street is one of my go-to spots in Claremont. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a casual breakfast, lunch, or even just a coffee catch-up. The interior is stylish but still cosy. The food is consistently good — I especially recommend their sourdough breads, eggs benedict, and pastries. Their coffee is solid, and the baristas usually get the order right. Service can be a little slow during peak times, but staff are generally friendly and accommodating. It’s also a nice spot to work from for a few hours during quieter times — Wi-Fi is available and there are a few plug points. Overall, a great little bakery and café that delivers on both food and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

The Knead Bakery doesn’t seem like the type of place that can whip up a delicious pizza, but the most definitely can. It was absolutely delicious and the pizza dough unsurprisingly was perfect! If you go from 2pm any day you also get all pizzas and any classic burgers for a big discount which was great. The staff and manager are super friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back to have their baked goods.

I think it's safe to say that this is my favourite breakfast/lunch spot! There are many food options to choose from, and everything I had was delicious. The owner and staff are super friendly. My only tiny little issue is with how small the space is, so you sometimes have to wait to be seated as it is usually very busy on weekends. It can get a little crowded and noisy as well.

Knead Dean Street is under new management and is full Halaal. I have tried them a few times since their reopening and their food has been consistently amazing! They have a good variety of dishes suitable for both breakfast and lunch and they have really great coffee too! Also try their freshly baked breads - the Turkish loaf is my favourite! Definitely worth a visit! I will be a regular!

The only halaal Knead Bakery at the moment, so it's perfect for people who only eat halaal food. I ate breakfast here, and it was delicious, along with some pastries and coffee. The service was good, with the staff being welcoming and friendly, and the food was tasty, and the atmosphere was vibrant too, although I felt the setup was slightly small.
